Kolot cheese, one of the most characteristic cheeses of Black Sea cuisine, is a traditional cheese type especially preferred for muhlama / kuymak. With its high melting property and fibrous structure, it creates an extended, intensely flavored and satisfying taste when cooked.
The Kolot cheese we chose for Adalı Gourmet is produced using traditional methods and contains no additives. Thanks to its natural fermentation process, it has a unique, slightly sharp aroma and a rich milky flavor.
When melted with butter in a pan, it perfectly yields mıhlama, the indispensable taste of Black Sea breakfasts. It can also be enjoyed in hot sandwiches, baked dishes, or at breakfast tables.
